Pupil Responsibilities

At Burwell Village College Primary School, every pupil is responsible for contributing to our school community. Within their own classes, all children take on a variety of roles that support the smooth running of the classroom.

Fruit/Milk Assistants          Line Leaders          Register Monitors          Table Monitors          Cloakroom Monitors          Book Monitors

Homework Helper             Pencil Person         Dojo Assistant                Class Librarian           Visual Timetable Assistant

Universal Roles

From Year 3 to Year 6, all pupils receive training in order to successfully carry out their wider-school responsibility. All of these leadership roles help pupils to develop key personal qualities: responsibility, effective communication, teamwork, resilience and initiative.
