Houses

Our house system helps create a strong sense of community and belonging across the school. Every child is part of a house team, giving them a smaller team within the wider school community where they can develop a sense of identity and teamwork.

In addition to our Class Dojo award system, house points are awarded to celebrate success and achievements. Children are given house points for impeccable behaviour, effort, attendance, personal achievements, stars of the week certificates, times tables champions certificates and winners of competitions.

Throughout the year, the houses take part in a range of friendly competitions and events, promoting participation and healthy competitiveness while encouraging and supporting one another.

Each term, pupils can choose to entry a range of house competitions. Every entry is awarded a house point for participation. Winners receive a prize along with ten extra house points.
