Turners Visit BVC – Road Safety Campaign

As part of our road safety campaign, Turners visited us with an artic HGV cab. All pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 had the opportunity to get up close to the vehicle to gain a better understanding of its size. They sat in the cab to see for themselves the view of a driver, including the blind spots. They realised that without the cameras the driver would have difficultly seeing pedestrians and people on bikes or scooters. They also asked the driver lots of question about the vehicle and his experiences when driving.

Turners will be visiting again on Thursday 12th December so that all KS2 pupils have the same opportunity.
