Litter Detectives – Y1/2 Cultural Capital (Community)

The Litter Detectives were out and about in the village on Wednesday.

During their cultural capital unit, the group have learnt about what is means to be part of a community and the impact littering can have on all living things within it.

The group collected litter within the school community. Whilst doing so, they collected data and analysed it to discover where the most litter gathered – very valuable information to give Mr Bish. This wasn’t enough for our eager Litter Pickers. They wanted to volunteer further, within the wider community, so we took a walk to one of the local parks and collected litter along the way.
